​Preserved flowers are flowers which have been through the mechanized process of dehydration, bleaching, drying, and dyeing. The reason why most preserved flower arrangements are so expensive is because the flowers themselves need to meet a high standard of quality checks and criterion before they are considered good enough for the process of preservation.

We only use Grade A preserved roses. 
Similarly, though they are technically preserved, we take care to order the flowers as recently as possible, so as to have them in top condition when delivered to you.

Grade A Preserved Roses
The cost difference between Grade A and Grade B preserved roses is vast. We only use Grade A preserved roses - you'll notice we insist on this. Here's how you differentiate Grade A roses:

• The flower petals are evenly distributed, and shape of the flower is not morphed.
• Middle part of the rose is ordered.
• Petals are strong and fresh looking, there are no spots on the petals, less than 4 gaps in the flower, gap size is less than 1cm.
• Petals are soft to the touch (Gold and Silver roses are understandably less soft). 
• Petals should not be translucent (mechanization errors)
• Color of the flower is uniform, fresh and natural, without fading.
• Flowers are not scented.

Optimal conditions for maintenance of preserved flowers

• Relative Humidity levels of 40% - 70%.
• Temperature between 4 degree celsius and 30 degree celsius
• Keep flowers away from moisture and sunlight
• Minimise touching of the flowers as our body has natural oils.
• If dust gathers, or the flowers get wet, use an air dryer with light, cold wind held far from the flower to remove dust or dry the flower.
